Dr Puri gets ‘Indian Icon 2021’ award

Chandigarh, December 25, 2021:  Dr Deepak Puri, senior cardiac surgeon at Max Hospital, Mohali has been awarded Indian Icon 2021 in cardiac sciences category. Dr Puri has been awarded for excellent global contribution in the evolution of an integrated approach to cost effective comprehensive management of cardiovascular diseases.
Dr Puri is also a founder chairman of Cardiomersion which is a global group of cardiovascular and allied specialists promoting integrated approach to comprehensive cardiac care.
Indians from across the globe who excelled in various fields including healthcare , education, architecture, literature and several other fields were awarded by the chairman of the BCCI's selection committee, Chetan Sharma.
