Dr Neeraj Goyal awarded ‘Emerging star in renal transplant excellence’
Dr Neeraj Goyal, associate director of urology and chief kidney transplant surgeon at Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula was awarded ‘Emerging star in renal transplant excellence’ during an India Health Summit 2025’ in New Delhi recently. The award is the first such national recognition for a kidney transplant surgeon from this region. The award also reflects the collective effort of Dr Goyal and his entire kidney transplant team at Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula.

Chandigarh: Dr Neeraj Goyal, associate director of urology and chief kidney transplant surgeon at Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula was awarded ‘Emerging star in renal transplant excellence’ during an India Health Summit 2025’ in New Delhi recently. The award is the first such national recognition for a kidney transplant surgeon from this region. The award also reflects the collective effort of Dr Goyal and his entire kidney transplant team at Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula.
Dr. Goyal was honoured for his pioneering efforts in establishing and advancing the kidney transplant program in the region, the facility that was once unavailable in the northern part of the state.
Through his relentless commitment and surgical expertise, Dr. Goyal has not only brought this life-saving service closer to home for thousands but has also made Haryana a self-reliant hub in advanced renal care.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Goyal has performed more than 1000 kidney transplants, with nearly 400 successful procedures conducted at Alchemist Hospital Panchkula where he works as associate director of urology & transplant surgery.
Dr Neeraj Goyal said, "This recognition is not mine alone—it belongs to every patient who placed their trust in my hands, who had faith in my skills, and who allowed me to walk with them through some of the most difficult journeys of their lives. It is because of them that I am what I am today. This award is theirs."
Earlier on National Doctors’ Day, Dr Neera Goyal was also awarded by Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini for his exemplary contributions in the field of kidney transplantation.
