Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu addressed a public meeting at Raipur Khurd

Chandigarh, February 11, 2019: Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu, the aspiring Congress candidate from Chandigarh Parliamentary seat, attended a programme at Raipur Khurd locality near the Old Airport Chowk and talked to the locals regarding various problems of the area.

During the visit, Dr Sidhu addressed a large gathering and assured the residents of village Raipur Khurd that their “developmental needs would be taken care of, once Congress party comes into power”.

In the end, the Sarpanch of the village, Darshan Singh, who was the guiding light behind the event, thanked the assembled audience. The programme was organised by Raman Sidana and Harjeet Singh, Congress workers from the area.

Other prominent people who were present at the programme, included Harbhajan Singh, Malkiat Singh, Dhiraj Dhawan, Baljeet Singh, Satnam Bhangu, Sardar Kesar Singh, Gurcharan Singh among others.

It is important to note that Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu is one of the strongest candidates for the Congress ticket from Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat.
