Dr. Navdeepak Sandhu takes charge as 18th Registrar of IKGPTU

Jalandhar/Kapurthala, June 13, 2025: Dr. Navdeepak Sandhu has taken charge as the 18th Registrar of I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU). As per the instructions issued by the Chairperson of the University’s Supreme Body Board of Governors (BOG), the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal has given the responsibility of the position of Registrar to Dr. Navdeepak Sandhu. This was vacant after Dr. S.K. Mishra, who was the 17th Registrar of the University, was appointed as Vice-Chancellor at Sardar Beant Singh State Technical University Gurdaspur.
Dr. Navdeepak Sandhu took charge as Registrar on Friday. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Susheel Mittal, reached the Registrar's office and led the joining ceremony. On this occasion, MLA from Baghapurana, S.Amritpal Singh Sukhanand, who is alumnus of IKGPTU, was specially present. He congratulated Dr. Navdeepak Sandhu on the additional charge of Registrar IKGPTU.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Navdeepak Sandhu is working as Deputy Director (Corporate Relations) in IKGPTU. The heads of various departments and staff members of the university congratulated Dr. Navdeepak Sandhu on his new inning as Registrar IKGPTU.
