Ludhiana: Dr Kiran Ahluwalia Gill on Saturday took charge of new Civil Surgeon of Ludhiana.
She replaced Dr Sukhjeevan Kakkar who attained superannuation on April 30, 2021.
Dr Gill was earlier Covid-19 Nodal Officer of Ludhiana and was working tirelessly since the pandemic surfaced.
Soliciting the support of people, She asked the people to adhere to Covid appropriate behaviour strictly to contain the escalated Covid-19 cases.
Dr Gill also appealed the all entitled people to get the Covid jab at the earliest to break transmission chain of virus.
