Dr. K Sreekumar wins the 4th Federal Bank Literary Award for the book Titled “MT Vasudevan Nair”
Dr. K Sreekumar has been selected as the winner of Federal Bank Literary Award 2025 for the book titled ‘MT Vasudevan Nair’. The award was presented at a ceremony held during the Kerala Literature Festival in Kozhikode.
Kochi: Dr. K Sreekumar has been selected as the winner of Federal Bank Literary Award 2025 for the book titled ‘MT Vasudevan Nair’. The award was presented at a ceremony held during the Kerala Literature Festival in Kozhikode.
“I am deeply happy and honoured to receive the Federal Bank Literary Award. This biography was written through close association and constant interaction with M T Vasudevan Nair. In my effort to ensure factual accuracy, the journey was often physically demanding. My objective was to present the life and legacy of M T meaningfully to future generations.” said Dr. K. Sreekumar
The award was handed over by Pramod Kumar T V, Deputy Vice President and Regional Head – Kozhikode, Federal Bank, along with a memento and a cheque of ₹1 lakh as prize money.
The winning work was chosen through a rigorous and transparent selection process. Following widespread nominations, the five most popular entries were shortlisted and evaluated by an eminent jury comprising Paul Zacharia, Muse Mary, and Sajay K V.
Noted author Paul Zacharia presided over the function. The vote of thanks was delivered by Bindu M, Deputy Vice President, Federal Bank.
