Chandigarh, May 05, 2026: Dr. Jivesh Bansal has assumed the charge of University Librarian, A.C. Joshi Library, Panjab University, Chandigarh, on a rotation basis for three years or till the post is filled.
Dr. Bansal also had the additional charge of Panjab University Librarian from April 2019 to June 2022. He has almost 25 years of experience in the Central Library, Panjab University, and is presently holding the position of Deputy Librarian (Professor rank) since July 2018. Earlier, the Director, Research & Development Cell, was additionally holding the charge of University Librarian.
