Dr Gurpreet Mann, CM Mann’s wife, joins election campaign, makes a special appeal to women

She visited several villages in the Tarn Taran constituency today, met with women, and addressed public gatherings.

Tarn Taran, November 4, 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party has put its full strength into the Tarn Taran by-election campaign. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wife, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Mann, has now actively joined the campaign. She visited several villages in the Tarn Taran constituency today, met with women, and addressed public gatherings.
In her address, Dr. Gurpreet said that today, women are the ones shaping the direction of the nation and society. The AAP Government has taken historic steps over the past four years for the dignity, safety, and empowerment of women. She said that in Tarn Taran, law and order have strengthened, women are receiving free medical treatment through Mohalla Clinics, and girls are getting quality education in excellent government schools.
She further said that 90 percent of Punjab’s households are receiving 300 units of free electricity every month, which has improved the financial condition of lakhs of families. The biggest beneficiaries of this have been women, who are now investing their savings in building a better future for their families.
Referring to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Dr. Gurpreet said that Mann's heart beats for the people, and for him, politics is a means of public service. The Mann Government has fulfilled the promises it made. The coming year is going to be even more special for the women of Punjab. In the next budget, the government is set to give a major gift to women, every woman in Punjab and Tarn Taran will soon receive ₹1000 every month, which will improve both their lives and self-reliance.
Appealing to the women, Dr. Gurpreet said, just as you contribute to the work at home, similarly, contribute to the democracy. This time, ensure a grand victory for Aam Aadmi Party candidate Harmeet Sandhu by a huge margin and give further momentum to Tarn Taran’s development.
