Dr BS Aulakh honoured at Delhi

Ludhiana, December 21, 2021: Renowned Urologist and Transplant Surgeon Dr Baldev Singh Aulakh, was felicitated by Urological Society of India(NZ) during annual conference at New Delhi for his contribution in patient management, student training and social work in the field of urology & Transplant surgery. He was also bestowed Marudhara Jodhpur Oration Award by the Urological Society. Dr Aulakh is MBBS, MS( surgery), M Ch(urology)and first Punjabi  qualified urologist and transplant surgeon in the state of punjab . Alumnus from PGI  I, served as Professor of Urology & Transplant Surgery  at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana before joining Aykai Hospital, Opposite Vardhman Mills Ludhiana as Director and Chairman, Department of urology & Transplant Surgery, Aykai Hospital providing state of the art multi-speciality services including kidney transplant. .
Dr Aulakh has performed thousands of Kidney transplants, Kidney stone & Kidney cancer operations & thousands of prostate operations.
National award winning Book on prostate diseases was authored by Dr.Baldev Singh Aulakh.  
He is the founder President of “Gift of Life Organ Donation Awareness Society” (GLODAS) an NGO a non profitable organization founded in 2008, which has been incessantly working towards the promotion of organ donation awareness in Punjab. 
Govt of Punjab bestowed state award on him for distinguished services. Dr Aulakh dedicates this award to his patients and their faith.
