Dr Bishav Mohan awarded with DGP Commendation Disc for exemplary services during Covid

Ludhiana, March 22, 2022: World renowned doctor, Dr Bishav Mohan has been awarded with DGP Commendation Disc for exemplary services during Covid 19. A professor of cardiology at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, this disc was presented to him by Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today.

While congratulating Dr Bishav Mohan, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that Dr Mohan has been a pillar of strength for the district administration Ludhiana during testing times when Covid was at its peak. They said that Dr Mohan not only educated masses about ways to save themselves from Covid 19 virus, but was also instrumental in motivating public for Covid vaccination.

DC Varinder Kumar Sharma said that Dr Bishav Mohan has always led from the front, that can be known from the fact that he was the first person in district Ludhiana who got himself vaccinated for Covid.

Dr Bishav Mohan thanked the Punjab government for bestowing this honour upon him and assured that he would continue to serve the people.
