Ludhiana, November 12, 2025: A young girl patient from the border area of Punch Sector (Jammu & Kashmir) approached Dr Anubhav Sharma. The patient is suffering with a rare bone tumor in her thigh since 3-4 years.
She belongs to an unprivileged labour class family who lost her father their only bread earner 2 years back. Her family was unable to afford the cost. Therefore, Dr Anubhav had to mobilised his own resources through family and friends who have readily agreed to bear the cost of all hospital charges including surgery.
She underwent specialised CT-guided RFA procedure for the tumour .
Dr Anubhav Sharma, Consultant Orthopedics, is a super specialist in Bone and Soft Tissues Cancer performed this unique procedure at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana.
The patient is free of pain and recovering well under Dr Anubhav Sharma's care.
