Dr. Amneet Gill participates in Institute for Policy Integrity, New York University’s final event webinar on ‘Place Based Energy Transition Research’

Chandigarh, Jun 25, 2023: Chandigarh based academician and author, Dr, Amneet Gill who teaches in Panjab University, Chandigarh participated in a webinar on ‘Place Based Energy Transition Research’ organized by the Institute for Policy Integrity, New York University School of Law, United States on June 21. 

This webinar was the final event in the series highlighting energy equity research. The webinar looked into how place based research on energy justice and clean energy development contributed to state and national policy making. 

Dr. Amneet Gill shared the example of extension of green energy in Chandigarh with its residents getting free of cost solar power plants installed on rooftops from next month. The webinar also delved into the theoretical frameworks and the methodological tools used in place based research to benefit diverse communities. An academic topper throughout (Double Gold Medalist), Dr. Amneet Gill has authored 5 books and several research papers.
