DPS Chandigarh Hosts Inter-DPS Quiz 2026 Zone I, Showcasing Young Minds from Across North India

Delhi Public School (DPS), Chandigarh successfully hosted the Inter-DPS Quiz 2026 – Zone I on July 23 and 24 under the aegis of The DPS Society, bringing together nearly 100 students from 18 DPS schools across North India for a two-day celebration of knowledge, intellect and teamwork.

Chandigarh, July 24, 2026: Delhi Public School (DPS), Chandigarh successfully hosted the Inter-DPS Quiz 2026 – Zone I on July 23 and 24 under the aegis of The DPS Society, bringing together nearly 100 students from 18 DPS schools across North India for a two-day celebration of knowledge, intellect and teamwork.

The competition featured separate Junior (Classes VI-VIII) and Senior (Classes IX-XII) categories, with participants competing in a series of engaging, multi-format quiz rounds designed to test their knowledge, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The event was inaugurated by Dolly Chanana, Director, The Delhi Public School Society, who encouraged students to embrace lifelong learning and critical thinking. She praised the participants for their enthusiasm and commended DPS Chandigarh for providing a platform that nurtures academic excellence and intellectual curiosity.

The quiz was conducted by noted Indian quizmaster Adittya Nath Mubayi, co-founder of Quizcraft Global and a member of the research team for Kaun Banega Crorepati. His fast-paced, four-round format challenged students across a wide range of subjects, with six of the 18 participating teams advancing to the finals after displaying exceptional knowledge, confidence and presence of mind.

Addressing the gathering, Reema Dewan, Director, DPS Chandigarh, thanked The DPS Society, participating schools, the quizmaster, teachers and organising committees for ensuring the event’s success. She said the Inter-DPS Quiz has become one of the school’s flagship academic events, encouraging students to broaden their perspectives while fostering a lifelong passion for learning. She also congratulated all participants for their outstanding performances.

The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where DPS Jalandhar emerged as the winner in the Junior category, while DPS International Saket clinched the Senior title. The competition reinforced the spirit of healthy academic rivalry and collaborative learning among DPS schools.
