Chandigarh, March 20, 2026: In a proactive step towards ecological stewardship, Delhi Public School Chandigarh organized a CBSE Continuous Professional Development (CPD) workshop on Friday, focusing on environmental education and conservation of natural resources.
The session, led by expert resource persons Dr Poonam Sharma and Dr Neeru Arora, aimed to equip teachers with effective strategies to instill environmental awareness among students. The workshop was highly interactive and went beyond theoretical discussions by incorporating engaging, hands-on activities.
Teachers were provided with practical tools to seamlessly integrate sustainability concepts into their daily lessons, ensuring a more impactful learning experience for students.
School Director Reema Dewan motivated the faculty to adopt environmentally responsible practices in their day-to-day lives. She emphasized the importance of such initiatives in nurturing a generation committed to protecting the environment.
The workshop concluded with a renewed commitment from educators to champion conservation efforts and promote sustainable practices within and beyond the classroom.
