Doaba College organized one day Inter-Department News Reading Competition 

Jalandhar, May 4, 2022: P.G. Department of Journalism & Mass Communication of Doaba College, organized one day Inter-Department News Reading Competition for final year students of under-graduate classes.Under the aegis of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’. Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari graced the occasion as chief guest .He was accorded a hearty welcome by Prof Sukhvinder Singh, Dr Simran Sidhu, staff and students. 

Principal Dr Pardeep Bhandari said that under the theme of Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ the college is trying to inculcate the spirit of creating innovative ideas amongst students so as to channelize thie energies in positive direction.

In English news reading section, First position was bagged by Jyotika (B.com), Second position was won by Divanshu (BA B.ed ) and third position by Parul ( Bsc Non-Medical).

In Hindi Language Meenal (BA B.Ed) Raja (BCA) and Tushar (B.com) won first, second and thirds positions respectively. 

In Punjabi Language Harmandeep (Bsc Economics), Gurdeep (MA English) and Gaurav (Bsc Medical) won first, second and thirds positions respectively.

Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari motivated students to fulfill the duties towards nation with full honesty. 

Prof. Sukhwinder Singh, Co-ordinator, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Doaba College, apprised students about aims of this project.

Dr. Simran Sidhu, Head. PG Department of Journalism & Mass Communication said that department in future would carry out activities to promote a sustained and structured cultural connect in the college.
