Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, is hosting a national conference on Neurophysiology, IAN-CNPCON 2023, 6th Conference of Neurophysiology Subsection of Indian Academy of Neurology from November 24th to 26th November, 2023. Clinical neurophysiology is a subspeciality of Neurology, where neurologists perform various tests like nerve conduction studies and electromyography (NCS and EMG), repetitive nerve stimulation tests, evoked potentials, SSR, blink reflex etc. to diagnose various nerve and muscle disorders.

Ludhiana, November 22, 2023: Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, is hosting a national conference on Neurophysiology, IAN-CNPCON 2023, 6th Conference of Neurophysiology Subsection of Indian Academy of Neurology from November 24th to 26th November, 2023. Clinical neurophysiology is a subspeciality of Neurology, where neurologists perform various tests like nerve conduction studies and electromyography (NCS and EMG), repetitive nerve stimulation tests, evoked potentials, SSR, blink reflex etc. to diagnose various nerve and muscle disorders.

It will be an exciting, cutting-edge, and enriching academic feast, including didactic lectures on nerve conduction studies, individual common and uncommon nerves with a case-based approach. Hands on and Skill up workshops, a number of workstations are planned for nerve conduction studies and electromyography (NCS and EMG). The highlights of the conference are Electrophysiological-pathological conference (EPC), debates, quizzes, poster sessions for the residents, a masterclass on sleep (Half Day Workshop), and didactic talks. Eminent national and international faculty like Dr. S. Nandedkar, Dr. Umapathi N. Thirugnanam, Dr. Ravishankar Naik, Dr. Khushnuma M., and many more will be there for three days. Approximately 200–250 faculty, delegates, and technologists are expected to attend the conference. A detailed discussion will take place on various nerve and muscle disorders like demyelinating neuropathies, plexuses, and traumatic nerve injuries.
