Ludhiana, August 1, 2026: DMC&H Ludhiana will celebrate Institutional Research Day on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Main Auditorium, DMC Medical College Campus. The event aims to promote a strong culture of research and scientific innovation among undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Dr. Rajiv Bahl, Director General, ICMR will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest during the inaugural ceremony.
Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society, said, "Research is the foundation of progress in healthcare and medical education. At DMC&H, we are committed to nurturing a research-oriented mindset among our students and faculty, enabling them to contribute meaningful scientific evidence that ultimately benefits patient care and society.
Dr. G.S. Wander, Principal, DMC&H, said, "Institutional Research Day provides an excellent platform for young researchers to present their scientific work, exchange ideas, and develop critical thinking. We encourage our students and residents to actively engage in research activities, as they play a vital role in advancing medical knowledge and improving clinical practice.
The celebration will feature a Best Abstract and e-Poster Competition for MBBS students, MD/MS residents, and DM/MCh students. Winners in the Best Abstract, Oral Presentation, and e-Poster categories will receive awards, while all participants will receive certificates of participation.
