DMC&H organises Smash 2023

Ludhiana, May 20, 2023: DMC&H organised “Smash 2023” an annual sports meet for the students of MBBS.  Batches from 2018 to 2022 participated in this extravagant event with great enthusiasm.

Present at the event were Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society, Dr Sandeep Puri, Principal, DMC&H, Dr Ashwani K Chaudhary, Medical Suptd, Dr Sandeep Sharma, Medical Suptd, Dr Sandeep Kaushal, Dean Academics, Members of the Sports Committee and other faculty members.

Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society said that this events reminded him of his days as a students. He lauded the students’ organizers for their efforts.

Dr Sandeep Puri, Principal, DMC&H said that events alike these are important because “all work and no play, makes jack a dull boy”. He also encouraged the students to play with honesty, vigor and with Integrity and practice the same in their profession as a doctor.

Students participated in several games like badminton, Basketball, 100M Race, 200 M Race, Relay Race, Cricket etc. Various titles were awarded to best players; Golden Boot- Harman Katnaur(2020) Best Goalkeeper - Raghav Chaudhary(2018) Best Footballer- Arnav Galhotra (2018) Player Of The Match- Pratham Chug (2020), Most Valuable Player - Aditya (BATCH 2021) Most Valuable Player( in Girls Basketball)- Sukhampreet Kaur (2022) and Hargun Grewal (2022).

In Boys Cricket category; Titles given were Highest Score In Single Match-(123/55) -Anmol Chaudhary (2020), Best Batsman-Sukhbir Sokhal (2018), Best Baller- Tanveer Gupta (2018), Most Valuable Player-Abhyuday (2021) and MAN OF THE SERIES-Sukhbir Sokhal (2018).

In Girls Cricket category, title winners were Best Batsman- Kritika (2022) Best Baller- Khushi (2020) –( 6 WICKETS) and Most Valuable Player -Jasleen(2018) (WICKETS- 5).

Games for faculty were also organized like Tug Of War, Spoon Race and Three Legged Race.
