DMC&H Ludhiana Celebrates World Plastic Surgery Day 2025 with a Special Event at School for Deaf Children

On the occasion of World Plastic Surgery Day 2025, Department of Plastic Surgery at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMC&H), Ludhiana, organized a special function at the School for Deaf Children located on Hambran Road, Ludhiana. During  the event team DMC&H donated clothes and food boxes for the children.

DMC&H Ludhiana Celebrates World Plastic Surgery Day 2025 with a Special Event at School for Deaf Children

Ludhiana, July 15, 2025: On the occasion of World Plastic Surgery Day 2025, Department of Plastic Surgery at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMC&H), Ludhiana, organized a special function at the School for Deaf Children located on Hambran Road, Ludhiana. During  the event team DMC&H donated clothes and food boxes for the children.

The event was graced by Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society, and Mukesh Verma, Treasurer, DMC&H Managing Society. Addressing the children and staff, Bipin Gupta shared words of encouragement, inspiring the children to be self-reliant and confident. He emphasized the importance of supporting differently-abled individuals and assured them of every possible assistance from DMC&H. He added that society should come forward to provide equal opportunities to all children, regardless of their abilities, and nurture their talents with care and sensitivity.

Avinash Gupta, Secretary of the Ludhiana Educational Society, along with other members and the Principal of the school, welcomed the DMC&H team warmly. They also guided the guests around the campus, highlighting the commendable efforts and achievements of the students and staff of the school.

The event was  coordinated by Dr. Ramneesh Garg, Professor, Department of Plastic Surgery, and Dr. Sheerin Shah, Associate Professor, Department of Plastic Surgery, along with MCh residents and MBBS students. The event included a special cultural performance by the students, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm.
