DMCH to hold conference for Pharmacotherapeutics

Ludhiana, January 28, 2014: Department of Pharmacology, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana is organising the 2nd International and 5th National Conference of Indian Society for Rational Pharmacotherapeutics (ISRPT) with the theme: “Quest for Responsible Use of Medicines” from 31st January to 1st February, 2014. This is in collaboration with MCI, ICMR & UGC and accredited by Punjab Medical Council. It will be a platform to enable both the clinicians and pharmacologists to work together for attaining the theme of the conference. During the conference, emphasis shall be laid on responsible use of medicines and it will also provide opportunities to doctors to interact with eminent international and national subject experts.

The highlights of this three day conference will be: Two pre conference workshops; PG Quiz; Panel discussion on Antibiotic policy development pre-conference. The International and National experts (clinicians and pharmacologists) will be sharing their experiences to integrate the knowledge in the Quest for Responsible use of Medicines for the benefit of delegates.

Organising Secretary, Dr. Sandeep Kaushal, Prof. & Head, Department of Pharmacology informed that this society aims to lay stress on the rational use of drugs for the patients.
