DMC&H Gastro Doctor Conferred ‘Asian Future Leader’ Award at International Conference in Seoul, South Korea

Ludhiana, April 12, 2026: Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMC&H) continues to shine on the global stage as one of its accomplished faculty member secures a prestigious international honor. Dr. Omesh Goyal, Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology, has been conferred the prestigious ‘Asian Future Leader in Neurogastroenterology’ Award at the recently held Asian Neurogastroenterology and Motility Conference in Seoul, South Korea.
Further elevating this achievement, Dr. Goyal’s research paper focusing on the impact of psychological comorbidities in patients with Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction (IBS, Dyspepsia,  Acidity etc.) was awarded the ‘Best Research Presentation Award’ at the same conference.
With these accomplishments, the Department of Gastroenterology at DMC&H continues to strengthen its position as a center of excellence in clinical care, research, and academic leadership, not only in India but also on the global stage.
