DMC&H Facilitates Sanjeev Arora on Appointment as Cabinet Minister & Hosts Employee Excellence Awards Ceremony

Ludhiana, August 5, 2025: DMC&H facilitated Sanjeev Arora, Vice President of DMC&H Managing Society, on assuming the post of Cabinet Minister, Industries, Commerce, Investment Promotion & NRI Affairs, Punjab. A ceremony was held today at the DMC College Campus.
 
An ‘Employee Excellence Award’ ceremony was held to recognize and appreciate the outstanding dedication and hard work of nursing staff, clerical personnel, security guards, ward boys, sanitation staff, and support staff for their dedication and hard work in delivering exceptional patient care and service over the past year. The award winners received cash prizes and appreciation certificates in recognition of their valuable contributions.
 
The event was graced by Sunil Kant Munjal, President, DMC&H Managing Society; Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society; Mukesh Verma, Treasurer, DMC&H Managing Society; Dr. G.S. Wander, Principal, DMC&H; Dr. Sandeep Kaushal, Dean Academics; Medical Supdt., Dr. Sandeep Sharma & Dr. Ashwani K. Chaudhary, Dr Bishav Mohan and Dr. Ashima Taneja, Additional Medical Supdt. Other members of management, faculty, and staff also graced the occasion.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Kant Munjal, President, DMC&H Managing Society, said, “We are extremely proud of Sh. Sanjeev Arora for being elected to the role of Cabinet Minister. He has always been a guiding force at DMC&H, and his success is a matter of great pride for the entire DMC&H family. In his message, Sanjeev Arora stated, “I am honoured by the warm wishes from my DMC&H family. This institution has been close to my heart and has played a vital role in shaping healthcare in Punjab. I applaud the staff being recognized today for their selfless commitment. Their behind-the-scenes efforts are the backbone of this institution’s success. I assure you all that I will continue to support and promote initiatives that uplift healthcare standards across the state.”
 
 
In his message, Bipin Gupta, said, “We warmly congratulate Mr. Sanjeev Arora on his appointment as Cabinet Minister. Today’s Employee Excellence Award Function honors those caregivers whose daily efforts ensure that our patients receive compassionate, quality care.”

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sandeep Kaushal, Dean Academics, DMC&H.
