DMC Youth Club, Ludhiana carry out Tree Plantation Drive in College Campus of DMCH

Ludhiana, August 10, 2016: In an effort to create a healthy and green atmosphere within its premises, DMC Youth Club carried out Tree Plantation Drive in the College Campus of DMCH.
With the motto of ‘Each one; Plant One; Nurture One’ fifty saplings of various varieties including Ficus, Chandani and other flowering plants were planted by the enthusiastic students. Dean Academics Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina was the chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated the students for their efforts of being environmentally conscious and initiated a tree plantation drive in the college campus. Mr Sunny Bhalla (Councillor) was also present on the occasion as Guest of Honour.
Dr Sanjeev Uppal (Professor & Head of Plastic Surgery and Faculty Co-ordinator for DMC Youth Club) said that we should all be responsible citizens and wisely utilise our natural resources for the present and ensure happiness of future generations
The event witnessed active participation from college faculty and students who volunteered to plant the saplings. President of DMCH Youth Club- Rooble Bhullar extended a warm welcome to their teachers and students present on the occasion. Project Co-ordinator and Vice President of DMC Youth Club- Gurjot Singh Gill proposed a vote of thanks to those present on the occasion and highlighted the audience about the need to replenish the green cover by planting trees
