DMC Medicos participate in FOGSI North Zonal Conference with Yuva

Ludhiana,March 29, 2022: Yuva FOGSI (Federation of Obstetric & Gynecological societies of India) was held at Nirvana, Ludhiana from 25th-27th March. More than 100 delegates from across the North Zone – Delhi, Jammu, Himachal, Haryana & Punjab participated.  
Deptartment of Obst. & Gynae, DMCH participated in which Dr Ashima Taneja, Prof.  & Head, Dept of Obst. & Gynae delivered lectures on vaginal hysterectomy and Fothergill repair surgery. She also chaired a session on Basic Surgical Skills Workshop.

Dr Suman Puri delivered a talk on Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy. She also chaired a session on Laparoscopy and was a panelist in discussion on “Infertility”.
Dr Sunil K Juneja delivered a talk on “Active Management of Third Stage of Labor” and chaired a session on Biochemical Markers.
Dr Shweta Gupta, Dr Pooja Tandon & Dr Kanupriya Jain conducted Panel Discussions & Obstetric drills.
Dr Reetika Aggarwal presented a paper on” Gender Selection and reassignment surgery” under miscellaneous category & Dr Heena presented a paper on “ Role of PRP in Infertility” and they bagged 1st prize each. A consolation prize was awarded to Dr Gagandeep Kaur for her paper “Changing environment for women” under the category of “Safe Motherhood”.
Dr Kanupriya Jain, Dr Shweta Gupta and Dr Pooja Tondon of Dept of Obst. & Gynae, DMCH, also participated as moderators in various interactive panel discussions.
