DLF Pramerica Life Insurance Company completes fours years of operations in Amritsar

Amritsar, March 19, 2013: DLF Pramerica Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (DPLI) today shared an update on the company’s performance in Amritsar and its continued commitment to Punjab.

At a press briefing organised by DPLI to mark the fourth anniversary of its branch in Amritsar, Maninder Sood, Executive Vice President - Head of Agency Sales, DPLI said, “Our Amritsar branch was one of the first branch offices outside Delhi NCR and its opening marked our foray into Punjab. Over the last four years, this branch has grown in strength and as of January 31, 2013, the office accounts for 18% of the total business that we do in the Punjab region. In this period, we have secured the lives of 5879 customers in the city, and collected Rs. 13.76 cr. as new business premium. We are confident that with our focus on protection and quality of advice, we will continue to witness even more success going forward.”

The Amritsar Branch Office is headed by Ashish Arora, Cluster Manager for Amritsar. He is supported by a strong team of 22 Sales Managers and 127 Life Associates (agents) who are committed to helping DPLI’s customers in Amritsar meet their life protection needs through the company’s innovative products.
