DLC SUPVA Signs MoU with Govt. Polytechnic, Bhiwani for Academic & Research Collaboration

Rohtak, September 4, 2025: The Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Fashion Design & Fashion Technology, Ch. Bansi Lal Govt. Polytechnic, Bhiwani, to strengthen academic, research, and cultural cooperation between the two institutions.

The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya, and Dr. Geeta Gulia, Principal, Ch. Bansi Lal Govt. Polytechnic, Bhiwani, in the presence of senior faculty and officials from both sides.

The MoU outlines a wide scope of collaboration between the two institutions, including joint initiatives in academic and research development to strengthen curricula, projects, and teaching methodologies. It also provides opportunities for faculty and student exchange programs to broaden exposure and learning, alongside short- and long-term internship programs. Further, the partnership will establish pathways for technology transfer and collaborative innovation, while also facilitating the organization of joint academic events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences. In addition, the MoU envisions collaborative publications and research projects, ensuring that both institutions work together in advancing knowledge and practice in their respective fields.

VC Dr. Amit Arya remarked that this MoU marks an important milestone in our efforts to integrate creative education with technical expertise. It will provide our students and faculty with new opportunities to learn, research, and innovate. DLC SUPVA has always believed in building strong academic linkages, and this partnership with Ch. Bansi Lal Govt. Polytechnic will open exciting avenues in fashion design, technology, and allied fields.

Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha added that through this collaboration, we are creating a framework where knowledge-sharing, cultural exchange and joint innovation will flourish. The synergy between the two institutions will be immensely beneficial for students as well as faculty.

Dr. Shelly Khanna, HOD, Department of Fashion Design, DLC SUPVA, who coordinated the MoU, emphasized that the partnership would act as a catalyst for advancing design education and research in Haryana, providing students with practical exposure and industry-aligned skill development.
