DLC SUPVA Marks 150th Year of Vande Mataram with Mass Singing Event Led by VC Dr. Amit Arya

In synchrony with the nationwide commemorations, the Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, today organized a mass singing of the “Vande Mataram” song in the lawns of the Vice-Chancellor’s office. The event was held to mark the historic 150th anniversary of the iconic patriotic anthem, in linkage with the Prime Minister’s programme.

Rohtak, November 7, 2025: In synchrony with the nationwide commemorations, the Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, today organized a mass singing of the “Vande Mataram” song in the lawns of the Vice-Chancellor’s office. The event was held to mark the historic 150th anniversary of the iconic patriotic anthem, in linkage with the Prime Minister’s programme.

The mass singing was led by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya, with enthusiastic participation from the varsity’s senior faculty, staff members, and students. The atmosphere radiated collective pride and cultural reverence, with everyone joining in one voice to celebrate the timeless spirit of India.

Dr. Arya said, “Today’s mass singing connects our students, faculty, and staff to the very roots of our national identity. ‘Vande Mataram’ is much more than just a song—it is a living embodiment of the dreams, struggles, and undying spirit of our nation. We are proud to join hands with communities across Haryana and the country to carry this tradition forward for new generations.”
