Diwali celebration with fervour and religious zeal at Ivy World School

Jalandhar, October 25, 2019: Ivy World School celebrated clean and green Diwali with festive gusto. The day started with a special morning assembly wherein students were enlightened with the significance of the festival and the relevance of eco-friendly celebrations. Arrangements were done to pay homage to Goddess Lakshmi during the assembly. The assembly culminated with the words of the school Principal, Mrs. Sanjeev Chauhan who expressed her deep concern about the environment and advised the students to celebrate Green Diwali. Various other activities such as ‘Inter-house Rangoli-making’ for classes VI-IX and ‘Diya’ decoration were organized for I-V. The school wore a festive look with decorated pots, diyas and lanterns adorning the reception and corridors of the school. The stunning designs of rangoli were alluring and fascinated the spectators. An air of devotion and religious zeal marked the end of the day.
