District & Sessions Judge Inspects Jail Along with DC and SP
The District & Sessions Judge and Chairperson of the District Legal Services Authority, Neerja Kulwant Kalason, along with Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta, Superintendent of Police Surender Singh, CJM and Secretary, DLSA Dr. Tarannum Khan, and other administrative officers, today conducted an inspection of the District Jail.

Rohtak, December 9, 2025: The District & Sessions Judge and Chairperson of the District Legal Services Authority, Neerja Kulwant Kalason, along with Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta, Superintendent of Police Surender Singh, CJM and Secretary, DLSA Dr. Tarannum Khan, and other administrative officers, today conducted an inspection of the District Jail.
During the inspection, all officers visited different barracks and interacted with the inmates. The prisoners were given an opportunity to present their grievances, and necessary directions were issued on the spot regarding their concerns. The officers enquired about cleanliness in the barracks, food arrangements, FM radio facility, LED screens, telephone facilities for communication with family members, and health services.
In addition to inspecting various barracks, the team also visited the short-term skill development centre, sports facilities for inmates, and the women’s barrack. During the inspection, Jail Superintendent Satyawan and officials from various departments were present.
