District-Level Primary School Games Begin with Great Enthusiasm at Jarkhar Stadium

Ludhiana, November 27, 2025: The district-level primary school games, including Mini Handball and 6-a-side Hockey (Under-11), commenced today with great excitement at Jarkhar Sports Stadium.
The Primary School Games were inaugurated by Gyan Singh, Coordinator of Sikhya Kranti 
Ludhiana, by cutting the ribbon. Prominent social worker and sports promoter Jagrup Singh Jarkhar presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Under the able guidance of DEO (Elementary Education) Dimple Madan and Deputy DEO Manoj Kumar, approximately 500 players from 19 blocks are participating in these games.
Providing information to the press, Block Primary Education Officer Manjeet Singh Garewal gave results of the first day:
Hockey (Boys) Results:
•    Jagraon defeated Rampur 11–1
•    Killa Raipur defeated Dhandari 8–0
•    Sudhar defeated Sacred Ludhiana 3–0
Hockey (Girls) Results:
•    Pakhoval defeated Rampur 3–0
•    Mundian Khurd defeated Bopa Rai Kalan 4–0
•    GNM Doraha defeated Dhandari 5–0
Mini Handball (Boys) Results:
•    Mundian Kalan defeated Machhiwara
•    Delhi Public School defeated Jesus Sacred High School Ludhiana
•    Dhandari Kalan defeated Government Primary School Allaudh
•    BCM Shastri Nagar defeated Kinder Garden Samrala
Mini Handball (Girls) Results:
•    Delhi Public School defeated Kinder Garden Samrala
•    BCM Shastri Nagar defeated DAV Pakhoval
•    Drishti Narangwal defeated Alpine Wood School

On this occasion, teachers including Kanwaljit Kaur, Maninderpal Kaur, Manjit Kaur, Maninderpal Singh, Inderjit Kaur (all CHT), Block Sports Committee members Jaswinder Singh Butahri, Pargat Singh Paddi, Satveer Kaur Pohir, Kamlesh Kaur BSO Dehlon-1, Ravinder Singh Saya Khurd, Satwant Singh Paddi, Davinder Singh Khanpur, Sukhdeep Kaur Jarkhar, Harkomal Singh Butta, Gurjant Singh Butahri, Jaswinder Singh Mukandpur, Tejinder Singh Shankar, Jaswinder Singh Jassowal, Kulwant Singh Khathra Chuharm, Sukhdeep Kaur Jarkhar, Sukhwinder Kaur Rara, Dharaminder Singh Jarkhar, Beant Kaur Lapran, Aakash Jarkhar, Manpreet Singh Killa Raipur, Haroon Rafi Nangal, Manpreet Singh Killa Raipur, Manpreet Singh Mundian and others performed their duties diligently to ensure the smooth conduct of the games.
The semi-final and final matches of these games will be held tomorrow, 28 November.
