Ludhiana, March 24, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Jain successfully conducted the District Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee meeting at Bachat Bhawan.
The proceedings were coordinated by Ambar Bandopadhyay—Chief Governing Officer, Lakhminder Kaur, and Simranjeet Kaur. The meeting witnessed active participation from leading industrialists and representatives of prominent organizations including Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), along with representatives from companies such as Aarti International Limited, Singhania Resources Private Limited, Birla Opus, Ralson India Limited, Mrs. Bectors Food Specialties Limited, Vardhman Special Steels Limited, Prime Steel Processors Private Limited, Happy Forgings Limited and Jujhar Group of Companies among others.
During the meeting, a detailed review of ongoing CSR initiatives in the district was undertaken. The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration between industry and administration to implement impactful projects such as social welfare, education, healthcare and infrastructure.
On this occasion, CSR Certificates of Appreciation were presented by Deputy Commissioner to select companies in recognition of their valuable contributions and collaboration with the district administration in implementing CSR initiatives for social district.
All stakeholders expressed their commitment to further strengthen CSR initiatives in the district.
