District Badminton Championship to kick off in Ludhiana on July 21
The Badminton Association of Ludhiana is all set to host the District Badminton Championship 2026. The inauguration ceremony of the tournament will take place at 11 am on July 21 at Shastri Hall, Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana.

Ludhiana, July 20, 2026: The Badminton Association of Ludhiana is all set to host the District Badminton Championship 2026. The inauguration ceremony of the tournament will take place at 11 am on July 21 at Shastri Hall, Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana.
Around 600 players aged 11 and above will be competing during the championship that would be held from July 21-26, 2026.
Later in the evening at 7pm, the championship will feature an exciting exhibition match between Himanshu Jain, IAS (Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana & President, Badminton Association of Ludhiana) and Vikas Hira, PCS (CA, GLADA).
The Badminton Association of Ludhiana cordially invites all sports lovers, citizens, and media personnel to join the event, support the young players, and celebrate the spirit of badminton.
