Distribution of books and stationary items to underprivileged children

Chandigarh, February 14, 2022: Centre for Social Work, Panjab University, Chandigarh in order to mark the "International Book Giving Day" on 14th of February 2022, distributed books and stationary items to the underprivileged children residing in the construction sites in Chandigarh.
The program was initiated by Ms. Babita & Ms. Jashanjot Brar who were the Research Scholars in the centre. And the team of trainee of MSW 2nd year also participated in the distribution program. In the program, the children were distributed with the books and stationary items and were made aware with the significance of International Books Giving Day. Also told the children to study hard and inculcate good studying habits.
