As TV sets across India tuned in to catch the real ᄡnce Ke Baap⬠Zee TVⳠDID L’Masters premiered with a grand opening of 5.8 TVR and went on to soar even higher on television viewership charts with a fabulous 6.2 TVR in the second week of its telecast. Even today, these li⬠powerhouses of talent continue to rule the popularity charts,࠭taking the show the undisputed King of all reality shows .
Now, after weeks of extraordinary talent, limitless fun and masti, the fierce competition has come down to the Top 5 finalists. They will battle it out on Sunday, August 12 in Pune for the coveted title of the "KB3 Cup"! The finalists include Faisal Khan from Prince Ki Paltan, Rohan Parkale & Saumya Rai from Raghav ke Rockstars, Om Chetri from Kruti ke Krackers and Jeet Das from Neerav ke Ninjas.
Jeet Das⠭oves to the popular Kolaveri Di during the Kolkata auditions made him an overnight sensation as videos of his performance were shared all across the internet. Fate had other plans for l⩬Jeet as an illness prevented him from traveling to Mumbai for the Final Auditions; but his stunning performance and uncanny resemblance to a young Michael Jackson during the Wild Card round catapulted him straight into the competition. Being the youngest contender in the competition hasnⴠstopped this li⬠firebrand from growing from strength to strength as he continued to deliver one brilliant performance after another. Master Geeta Kapur has time and again told him that he displays the spirit of a great dancer every time he performs on stage!
Cute and mischievous Om Chetry is truly a cracker in every sense of the word. He first caught the attention of the judges with his surprising flexibility & control over movement during his audition at Kolkata. He then went on to weave his way into the hearts of millions of fans with his performances, often charming visiting Bollywood stars with his cute antics and throwing dance or stunt challenges at them. From his breathtaking stunts to his effervescent personality, he pushes the envelope every time whether it was his malkhamb that could put older and more trained dancers to shame or the daring fire act that kept the audience on the edge of their seats and his skipper Kruti was reprimanded for even attempting such a dangerous act. Time and again, young Om has proved to the audience that thereⳠnothing he cannot accomplish once he sets his mind to it!
Soumya Rai is a dancer who from day one has proved, that if there is anything a boy can do, she can only do it better! Whether it is kathak and Bollywood or Popping-Locking and Dubstep, Soumya has excelled at them all. Her characteristic grace and flow of movement has always earned her compliments from the judges and grandmaster alike. Her rendition of Madhuri DixitⳠᎡch Le⠧ot her a flurry of praise from everyone who saw it; with Master Marzi going as far as saying that she outdid MadhuriⳠoriginal performance!
Rohan Parkale has been the dark horse all thorough the competition! Time and again, he has surprised his choreographers and the judges with his sheer versatility. Whether it was his skipper RaghavⳠtrademark "slow mo" dance or guest choreographer PaulⳠfreestyle, Rohan has absorbed every style like a veritable sponge and replicated each performance with flair and flourish, making him every choreographerⳠdream dancer. His ᳨adow⠰erformance with Paul from DID Season 3 was rated as one of the best performances across any season of DID and earned him the highest votes of the week!༯p>
Not many 13-year-olds can claim to have fans in Bollywood, but Faisal Khan has done just that! At the Mumbai audition, he left Master Geeta Kapur in tears with his brilliant performance. She wished that she was blessed with a child like Faisal and his inborn talent for dance. His father, an autorickshaw driver in Mumbai, supported his dreams and helped him get to the audition of DID and thereⳠbeen no looking back ever since. Abhishek Bachchan & Ritesh Kapoor were raving about his fluid movements and charming expressions and have been following his progress on the show right from the audition. Whether it is his artistry with props or the ease with which he makes even the most complicated dance look simple, Faisal is one electric performer who has won himself a legion of dedicated fans! ࠼/p>
Swirling up a magical blend of jaw-dropping dance acts one could never have imagined kids to be able to perform and the heart-warming innocence and exuberance of countless kids across the country, DID L⩬Masters has been a delight to watch and very logically the ruler of the TRP charts! Master Geeta Kapur and Marzi Pestonji are the judges and the talented children who made it to the єop 16⠴his year have been mentored, groomed and choreographed by their ᓫippers⠷ho are popular contestants from the previous seasons of Dance India Dance. The skippers include the current rage 場he king of Slow Motion dance - Raghav aka Crockroaz, the 㐲ince䠯f Locking and Popping from Season 1 of Dance India Dance, Neerav Bavlecha, the quintessential chocolate boy of DID Season 3 and Kruti Mahesh, the exceptionally gifted classical dancer from Season 2. The Grandmaster of the DID family Mithun Da has been a constant on the show with visits by movie stars such as Sonakshi Sinha, Prabhudeva, Shahid Kapur, Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Ritesh Deshmukh and Tushar Kapoor who just havenⴠbeen able to resist the charm of the li⬠ones.
