Dhvanyaloka most exemplary doctrinal text written on Sanskrit poetics

Chandigarh: Padmashri Prof. Abhiraj Rajendra Mishra in his lecture in Dhvanyaloka workshop organized by Philosophy Department of Panjab University said that Dhvanyaloka is the most exemplary doctrinal text written in the entire history of Sanskrit Literature. Prof. Mishra said that there was always a prevailing coherence in all the tradition of knowledge in India such as Vedanta, Ayurveda, Literature, etc.

In his impressive lecture, Prof. Mishra recited his Sanskrit poems along with ghazals written by him in Sanskrit. He explained the dialogue between all traditional schools of Sanskrit Literature with beautiful examples. In the conversation with convener of the workshop, Chairperson of Philosophy Department of Panjab University Dr. Shivani Sharma, Padmashri Prof. Mishra said that in Sanskrit Poetics, even the pain and sorrow infers permanent peaceful clarity.

In the last session of the day, Prof. Rajendra Prasad Sharma from Rajasthan University in his lecture explained the connection between Kashmir Shaivism and Tantra with Dhvanyaloka text.
