Dharamshala Press will not take refreshments in government programs 

Dharamshala: The media persons of Dharamshala have decided that during the Corona period, journalists of Dharamshala will not enjoy any kind of  refreshments  in any government program. In this connection Dharamshala Press Club asked the government agencies to deposit expenditure of such refreshments in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. On the same lines, the same advisory be applicable to any person or private organization or agencies press conference.

Under this decision, ministers and legislators have also been requested to direct the local bureaucracy with immediate effect that they should inform the government and the press club through the concerned officers  about how much money they saved in hospitality and how much money deposited in the Relief Fund . While other social institutions, political and non-political organizations are advised to give the cheque, equal to the possible expenditure of press activities to the local available government official.

Giving this information about the meeting of Dharamshala Press Club, the president of the club Akhilesh Bharti said, “This small effort by the media in the Corona period will continue until the situation becomes normal. I am confident that the MLAs, Ministers and officers associated with the government system will sincerely cooperate with it. It shall be a small contribution of the Media to the government to cut the expenditures.”
 
In the same meeting, it was also decided that the elections of Press Club Dharamshala will be held on 9 November.
