Dharamsala, November 16, 2013: Himachal’s Pace bowler and dashing batsman Rishi Dhawan could be the first to get selected for India. Rishi Dhawan from Mandi has given so many nice performances for Himachal in junior and senior cricket. He is at the moment a plying member of Mumbai Indian in IPL T20 were he has showed his class in front of Sachin Tendulkar. Rishi Dhawan grabbed a five-wicket haul as Himachal Pradesh crushed Jammu & Kashmir to an innings and 192-run defeat in their Ranji Trophy group C match on Saturday at HPCA cricket ground Dharamsala.

Himachal pacers led by Dhawan (5-51) wreaked havoc as they dismissed J&K, who started day three on 14 for one, for just 88 in 26.4 overs at HPCA stadium here.

Twenty-three-year-old Dhawan, who finished with match figures of nine for 121, was ably supported by his new-ball partner Vikramjeet Malik (2-21) and debutant seamer Akshay Chauhan (3-14).
