Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Devotion and spirituality are set to return to the big screen in Hindi cinema with a unique upcoming film titled Bolo Radhe Radhe. Blending Radha-Krishna devotion, Braj culture, and the message of cow protection, the film has already begun generating excitement among devotees and cinema lovers even before the start of its shooting.
The film will begin production on the sacred land of Mathura and Vrindavan, places deeply associated with the divine legends of Lord Krishna. Interest in the project is not limited to India; devotees and followers of Sanatan culture from the United States, London, Mauritius, Australia, and New Jersey are also showing keen enthusiasm for the film.
The film aims to present an inspiring story rooted in spirituality, culture, and social values. Through an emotional and engaging narrative, Bolo Radhe Radhe will highlight the divine devotion of Lord Krishna and Radha Rani, the importance of serving and protecting cows, and the message of positive transformation in society. The makers emphasize that the film is not just meant for entertainment but also for spreading the timeless values of Indian culture—compassion, service, devotion, and moral responsibility.
According to filmmaker Ravi Bhatia, the project has undergone extensive research. Scholars, spiritual leaders, and experts associated with the study of the Bhagavad Gita have contributed insights to shape the story.
He explained that the film will beautifully blend Braj culture with elements of the Awadhi language, offering audiences an authentic cultural and spiritual experience.
The film is being produced under the Rev Media banner with support from Gaumata Seva Forum. The ceremonial launch and the beginning of shooting will take place during the festival of Baisakhi in Mathura–Vrindavan.
This also opens a significant opportunity for local artists from the Braj region, many of whom will get the chance to showcase their talent on the big screen for the first time.
Actors from South India, Mumbai, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh will be part of the film. In addition, several popular YouTubers, social media creators, and fresh faces will also appear in the project, adding a contemporary touch that may attract younger audiences.
The film will feature 11 original devotional songs, designed to convey the spiritual essence of Radha-Krishna devotion through music.
Industry observers believe that with its emotional storytelling and strong devotional theme, the film may resonate with audiences in a way similar to the classic devotional hit Jai Santoshi Maa, which once created a remarkable cultural impact.
The film is written and directed by Ravi Bhatia, who earlier gained recognition for his patriotic film “2 Little Indians.” Known for his sensitive storytelling style, Bhatia believes cinema can serve as a powerful medium to inspire positive thinking and cultural awareness.
Global Release Plans
The makers plan to release Bolo Radhe Radhe worldwide in 2027, aiming to take India’s rich spiritual traditions, Braj culture, and the message of cow protection to a global audience.
With its blend of devotion, culture, music, and meaningful storytelling, the film promises to be a unique addition to the devotional genre in Indian cinema.
