Dev Samaj College for Women gets new academic block

Dev Samaj College Managing Committee chairman inaugurates building Chandigarh, July 18, 2019: A New academic block of Dev Samaj College for women, Sector 45 B, Chandigarh was inaugurated by Shrimaan Nirmal Singh Dhillon, Chairman, Dev Samaj College Managing Committee here on Thursday. Dr.Agnese Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj College Managing Committee and Principal Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector-36, Chandigarh, Maanvinder Singh Mangat, Chief Administrative Officer, Dev Samaj, Chandigarh, and Sabeeha Dhillon Mangat, Chief Co-ordinator, I.S Dev Samaj Sr. Secondary School, Sector-21 Chandigarh were also present on this occasion. Speaking on this occasion, Shrimaan Nirmal Singh Dhillon stated that the new building will not only facilitate the gigantic leap in infrastructural development but also take the college to its zenith and will make it a place of learning for ages to come. While addressing the gathering, Dr. Agnese Dhillon said that new academic block will help in the smooth functioning of office work and college. It will have a bigger library with the latest Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facility along with new classrooms for the students. Dr. Jaspal Kaur, Principal of Dev Samaj College for Women expressed her gratitude to the management and thanked it for its unflinching support in the upliftment of the college. On the auspicious day sweets were also distributed among the teachers and students to mark the celebrations.
