Dev Samaj College of Education Marks 'Pashu Jagat Divas'

Chandigarh, September 12, 2025: NSS units and Animal Fans' Club of Dev Samaj College of Education celebrated 'Pashu Jagat Divas' exploring the relationship of humans with the Animal Kingdom. Prof. Agnese Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj addressed the students regarding the theme of the celebration and emphasised on the importance of human beings developing a feeling of love and responsibility towards saving the animal kingdom. Shri Maanvinder Singh Mangat, Secretary Dev Samaj College of Education was also present. On this occasion, students recited self-composed poems expressing their views and prepared posters on the said theme. A play 'When They Spoke' was also staged to display empathy for the animal kingdom.
The felicitation ceremony for the newly elected Student Council Members was also conducted. All the students took an oath for animal welfare. Dr. Richa Sharma, Officiating Principal congratulated and motivated them to shoulder the responsibility with enthusiasm and diligence.
