Chandigarh, November 29, 2025: Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36B, Chandigarh organized its 18th Convocation function in the college campus. Prof. Renu Vig, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. Agnese Dhillon, The Chairperson, Management, DSCE and Maanvinder Singh Mangat, Secretary management DSCE also graced the occasion with their worthy presence. The function started with the College prayer.
Dr. Richa Sharma, Principal, delivered welcome address and declared the convocation open. Prof. Renu Vig in her convocation address said that the acquisition of a degree in higher education is testimony to thinking independently. She said that one must think twice before adopting an easy way and that the need is to listen to our inner voice and conserve our energy for more useful things.
Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj and Chairperson Dev Samaj College of Education congratulated all the students and inspired them to become dedicated and responsible teachers.
Prof. Renu Vig gave away degrees to all students of the sessions 2020-22, 2021-23, 2022-24 of B.Ed., M.Ed. and Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling , Post Graduate Diploma in Child Guidance & Family Counselling. The toppers of four sessions were facilitated for their academic excellence. 225 students were awarded degrees on this occasion.
