Dev Samaj College of Education holds 17th Convocation  
Dev Samaj College of Education held it's 17th Convocation. Professor Raj Kumar , Vice-Chancellor , Panjab University, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

College's Ramneet Kaur stands 1st in the MEd 2017-19 session
Chandigarh, November 6, 2022: Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36 B, Chandigarh organized its 17th convocation function in the college campus. Professor Raj Kumar , Vice-Chancellor , Panjab University, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. Indu Rihani  ,Ex Dean , Rayat & Bahra University of Education and Social Sciences was the Guest of Honour.
 
Dr.Agnese Dhillon, Principal of the college, delivered the welcome address and declared the convocation open. Professor Raj Kumar gave away degrees to 550 students of the three sessions 2017-19, 2018-20, 2019-21 of B.Ed, M.Ed, Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling and Post Graduate Diploma in Child Guidance and Family Counseling. In his convocation address the VC said that the acquisition of a degree in higher education is a testimony to thinking independently. He guided students to believe in their abilities and work hard.

Nirmal Singh Dhillon ji, Secretary Dev Samaj and Chairman Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector-36B, Chandigarh congratulated all the students and inspired them to become dedicated and responsible teachers and urged them to develop a scientific temper. The function concluded by giving away the token of appreciation to the academic achievers.

FOLLOWING IS THE P.U. TOPPERS LIST FOR ALL THREE SESSIONS:
2017-19: In B.Ed Shefali Wadhera stood 7th in P.U., In M.Ed Ramneet Kaur stood 1st in P.U. , Sonam Sharma 6th and Harmandeep Kaur 7th. In PG Diploma in Guidance & Counseling Aditi Bansal stood 1st , Komal 8th and Sakshi was 9th.  In PG Diploma in Child Guidance & Family Counseling Simran Batra was 1st, Manvi Deep Arora 2nd, Akriti Mehta and Satvika were joint 3rd ,and Anuheta Ghai stood 5th.
2018-20: In M.Ed, Nisha Malik stood 4th and Divya Srivastav 8th. In PG Diploma in Guidance & Counseling Somya stood 2nd, Pratima 7th, Seema 8th and Swati 10th in P.U.
2019-21: In  M.Ed Prabhjot stood 5th and Kirti Ghai was 6th.  In PG Diploma in Guidance & Counseling Harnoor stood 2nd, Indrani Negi 3rd, Poorva was 5th  and Maliha was 8th in P.U. In PG Diploma in Child Guidance & Family Counseling Pallavi stood 1st, Harpriya 3rd, Ananya 5th,  Divya 6th, Rohini 7th, Sagun 9th, and Sanchit and Yesha were joint 10th in P.U.
