Deputy Director General (Agril Engg) ICAR acknowledges pictorial work depicting Punjab's culture heritage and language 

Ludhiana, March 15, 2024: Dr. S.N Jha, Deputy Director General (Agril. Engineering), New Delhi was today presented the significant pictorial work depicting importance of Punjab's Heritage & Culture, and special traditional Stoles adorned with Punjab's Map, Punjabi alphabets and personalized nameplates with aim to promote Mother language “Punjabi” across the nation during an event held at Administrative Block CIPHET, Ludhiana. Significant pious portrait depicting Siri Sahib monument of Historic Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib, Pakistan was presented for ICAR-CIPHET Ludhiana in the presence of Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director CIPHET; Dr. K. Narsiah, ADG ICAR, Dr. Sandeep Mann, Principal Scientist & Head AS&EC Division, Ramesh Chand Meena, CAO ICAR- CIPHET Ludhiana, Dr. Sheela Pandey Associate Professor College of Agriculture Engineering Jabalpur and faculty members of  CIPHET Ludhiana. 

DDG ICAR Dr. S.N Jha acknowledged the meaningful pictorial & literary work initiated by Former Additional Advocate General, Punjab, Author and Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu to promote the Punjab's Culture, Heritage & Language within the society and particularly with ICAR Institute and this will definitely add towards preserving cultural heritage and play an important role to keep new generation deep rooted to the community.

Director CIPHET Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, who was also present during the meeting applauded the sincere efforts of Harpreet Sandhu towards promoting Mother language and said that it’s most essential to promote regional language as it carries within centuries of cultural heritage, traditions, and values. By promoting it, we ensure that these elements are not lost but cherished and passed down to future generations and shared the pictorial brochures highlighting Punjabi language with the officers of CIPHET.
