Deputy Commissioner honors four players from Ferozepur who won gold medals in khelo india youth games

Ferozepur, June 21, 2022:  Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Amrit Singh on Tuesday honored four players from Ferozepur who won gold medals in National Gatka Championship in Khelo India Youth Games held at Panchkula Haryana organized by Ministry of Sports, Government of India. On this occasion SDM Guruharsahai Babandeep Singh Walia and PCS Officer Abhishek Sharma were also present.

In Khelo India Youth Games, four players from Ferozepur, Bhupinder Pal Singh, Harshdeep Singh, Randeep Kaur and Veerpal Kaur have won gold medals. Encouraging these players, the Deputy Commissioner said that these four Gatka players from Ferozepur have made Ferozepur famous by winning gold medals in the National Gatka Championship held at Panchkula and it is a matter of great pride for our district. She congratulated the players and said that other players should also get motivated by these players and work hard to achieve their goals.
