Department of Music shine in Panjab University Youth and Heritage Festival 2023-24 

Chandigarh, October 17, 2023: The Department of Music shine in Panjab University Youth and Heritage Festival 2023-24 by winning various competitions in the Festival. Professor Neelam Paul, Chairperson, Dept. of Music, Panjab University informed that the department’s team won 1st Prize in Group Song,  1st Prize in Indian Orchestra, 1st Prize in Group Shabad, 1st Prize in Non- Percussion, 2nd Prize in Classical Vocal Music, 1st Prize in Ghazal (Individual), 1st Prize in Best Performer-Group Song. Professor Neelam Paul congratulated teachers, students  and accompanists on this big achievement and appreciated their sincere and hardworking efforts for bringing these great accomplishments to the department of Music and showered best wishes for their bright future namely Vaishnavi, Abhay, Inderjeet, Mansi, Ashutosh, Jagsir, Amanjot, Bunty, Rohit, Ankit, Anushka, Nidhika, Nishant, Akshay, Anchal, Sneha, Nikhil, Gautam, Yachika, Manjot, Kajal, Anuj, Ajay and accompanists Rajneesh Dhiman and Arshdeep Singh. She also appreciated sincere efforts of Dr. Gurdial Singh for preparing Indian Orchestra excellently.
