Chandigarh, October 16, 2025: The Department of Indian Theatre, Panjab University, Chandigarh, under the esteemed leadership of PU Vice-Chancellor Professor Renu Vig, today organised a five-day international acting workshop conducted by Ms. Sandra, a visiting faculty member from Germany. The day long workshop provided an enriching cross-cultural learning experience for MA I and MA II students, emphasising both foundational and advanced aspects of acting training.
For the MA I students, Sandra conducted basic training sessions on improvisations and theatre games, helping them discover spontaneity, emotional connectivity, and truthful expression in performance. With the MA II students, she led intensive work sessions focusing on the Meisner technique and advanced secondary exercises, encouraging deeper emotional engagement, attentive listening, and authentic reaction in character development.
