Dental Institute Invites Punjab Governor to Grace Closing Ceremony of Self-Defence Training Workshop
Principal-cum-Professor of Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Chandigarh, Dr. Deepak Kumar Gupta, met Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh, Gulab Chand Kataria, to request him to preside over the Closing Ceremony of the Self-Defence Training Workshop at the Dental Institute in Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, September 20, 2025: Principal-cum-Professor of Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Chandigarh, Dr. Deepak Kumar Gupta, met Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh, Gulab Chand Kataria, to request him to preside over the Closing Ceremony of the Self-Defence Training Workshop at the Dental Institute in Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Dr. Deepak Kumar Gupta briefed Shri Gulab Chand Kataria about the Self-Defence Training Workshop, which is aimed at empowering students and staff with essential self-protection skills.
About 200 students are receiving training from the ‘Swayam team’ of Chandigarh Police in personal safety skills, with the aim of providing the dual benefit of personal safety skills and making students mentally strong and stress-free.
