The district administration carried out a demolition drive against illegal construction in Sarai Ahmed and Makrauli Kalan villages as part of its ongoing campaign to curb unauthorized colonies and illegal developments in controlled and urban areas of the district, said Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta.

Rohtak, March 12, 2026: The district administration carried out a demolition drive against illegal construction in Sarai Ahmed and Makrauli Kalan villages as part of its ongoing campaign to curb unauthorized colonies and illegal developments in controlled and urban areas of the district, said Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that during the drive, an illegal colony being developed in village Sarai Ahmed was dismantled, including the earthen road network created within the colony, while an illegal construction spread over approximately five acres in village Makrauli Kalan was also demolished.

DC Sachin Gupta said the district administration is conducting regular enforcement drives to prevent unauthorized constructions and illegal colonies, and such action will continue in the future as well.

He urged citizens not to invest their hard-earned money in unauthorized colonies or illegal developments, as strict action is taken against such constructions from time to time.

The demolition operation was carried out by the District Town Planner (DTP) Department.
