Rohtak, June 26, 2026: MDU will prepare a comprehensive roadmap to elevate its academic and administrative quality to new heights. A comprehensive strategy in this regard was deliberated upon during meetings of the Quality Advisory Council (QAC) of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Centre for Internal Quality Assurance (CIQA), held on Friday under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on key issues such as further strengthening the university's quality system, improving NIRF-2026 rankings, effectively implementing NAAC standards, expanding digital education, and introducing new courses in online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) modes.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Milap Punia stated that quality education, excellent research, innovation, and transparent administration constitute the true identity of any university. He emphasized that providing modern, employment-oriented, and technology-based education to students, in alignment with the New Education Policy, is the university's top priority.

He called upon everyone to work through coordinated efforts to position MDU in the front ranks of excellent institutions at the national level. A consensus was reached on taking effective and time-bound measures to further strengthen the quality culture, promote digital teaching, and achieve significant improvement in the university's national ranking. The Vice-Chancellor directed that every unit of the university should function by prioritizing quality standards, enabling MDU to set a new benchmark of excellence in the field of higher education.
