Ludhiana, September 3, 2025: A high-level delegation from the Association of Ludhiana Machine Tool Industries (ALMTI) visited the Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) at its Focal Point Complex in Ludhiana to explore avenues for collaboration and gain insights into its advanced technical infrastructure.
The delegation was led by Tarlochan Singh, President, ALMTI, and included Sushil Kumar, Kamaljit Singh (Senior Vice President), Mohinder Singh (Joint Finance Secretary), along with other prominent members of the association.
During the visit, the ALMTI team was given a comprehensive tour of CICU’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the Center of Excellence, Reverse Engineering Lab, and the AWaDH Lab (IIT Ropar). The delegates showed keen interest in CICU’s ongoing initiatives focused on industrial innovation, skill development, and applied research, and appreciated the significant contributions being made to strengthen the regional industrial ecosystem.
The delegation was warmly received by Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU, and Honey Sethi, General Secretary, CICU, who shared CICU’s vision, services, and the wide-ranging support it extends to MSMEs as well as large-scale industries.
Both organizations recognized the potential for strategic collaboration to foster innovation, enhance skills, and drive growth in the machine tool sector in Ludhiana.
